Walk begins at 1pm

Daffodil Daze 1K Community FUN Walk up Daffodil Hill.

While organizers of the "Daffodil Daze" weekend event cannot predict Mother Nature and her weather plans, traditionally, millions of faithful, bright colored daffodils, in all colors, shapes and sizes, begin to bloom mid-March through the end of April on "Daffodil Hill". Daffodil Hill is open to the public for "self-guided" drives. Please drive carefully and watch out for walkers and the Shady Cove deer family. Bring your camera - "give yourself a million reasons to smile

"Directions: "Daffodil Hill" is a 1.5 mile scenic drive located off Rogue River Drive, just a short distance (1/4 mile) from Highway 62 and the Shady Cove business district affectionately known in the spring as "Daffodil Hill" - follow the signs.

The Daffodil Daze Saturday Tour & Sunday 1K Community FUN Walk, is always held on the weekend following the first day of spring. This popular two-day celebration welcomes spring and brings awareness to a five-week daffodil growing season on "Daffodil Hill" for all to enjoy - nature abounds!

Organized by Kathleen Collins, River Plaza Fitness Center, to encourage a healthy lifestyle while assisting the Shady Cove Food Pantry.
